Community Appreciation Day at Gibsons Park Plaza

On Saturday, May 25, Wesbild celebrated the completion of some major exterior renovations at Gibsons Park Plaza with a Community Appreciation Event.

Stores at Gibsons Park Plaza offered 1-day specials and prize give-a-ways to celebrate the event; some retailers even had cake! Community Appreciation Day also lined up with the Grand Opening of Giggle N’ Bloom, a local children’s specialty store, and the 7th Anniversary of Seasoned Kitchen.

A barbeque sponsored by Wesbild, and run by KidSport Sunshine Coast raised over $825 for the charity, making it their most successful barbeque to date. This money raised will provide grants for at least 5 children to participate in the organized sport of their choice this year! Maddie’s Monsters, a local charity benefiting Juvenile Diabetes, held a car was that day as well and despite the rain, had cars through all day.
