Construction Underway for Meridian Crossing

Wesbild Shopping Centres is pleased to announce that they have started construction on the first new shopping centre on Burke Mountain – Meridian Crossing.

Located at the gateway to Burke Mountain at Coast Meridian and David Avenue, Meridian Crossing will be a key part of Wesbild’s The Foothills at Burke Mountain community and the first new neighbourhood shopping centre for this growing, family friendly community.

“We see Meridian Crossing as a key gathering place for Burke Mountain”, says Ted Ayerst, Senior Vice-President of Wesbild, “This will be a place to meet up with your neighbours, grab lunch, drop off your children to daycare or pick up a jug of milk – all within walking distance of home.”

Meridian Crossing will feature contemporary Westcoast architecture with confirmed tenants including 7-Eleven, Subway, dentist Dr. Tom Lee and cefa™ (Core Education & Fine Arts) Junior Kindergarten. Owned and operated by David and Joyce, cefa™ provides high quality care for chidren aged one to five featuring a unique partnership of core subjects, such as Reading and Math, with fine arts, including Music and Yoga.

Completion is scheduled for early 2013.
