Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation Charity Classic Golf Tournament at Predator Ridge
Register today for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation Charity Classic Golf Tournament – being held at Wesbild’s Predator Ridge on Sunday, May 25th.
Last year’s tournament successfully raised $123,000 (net) for the Tower of Care Campaign, Phase II. In the four years that the Charity Classic Tournament event has run, an impressive $583,000 has been raised for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital!
The Hospital will soon be undergoing a transformation with the completion of the 6th & 7th floors of the new Polson Tower.
Currently these floors are shelled in and will be transformed, allowing for 60 new state-of-the-art inpatient care beds.
The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation (VJHF) agreed to provide $2.5 million worth as part of this $29 Million project.
The net proceeds from this year’s golf tournament will go to support this very important Hospital project. The funds will be used to buy medical equipment to furnish the rooms on the new floors of the Polson Tower.
Telus has signed on as the title sponsor for this year’s tournament – the fifth annual Charity Classic. “We are delighted that Telus has become our title sponsor,” said Cliff Oughtred, Charity Classic chairperson.
“Telus has been a long-time generous supporter of Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation and our Charity Classic. We are grateful for their commitment and increased support for this important fundraiser.”
The format includes a hot buffet breakfast, a morning shot gun start, a Vegas scramble and $10,000 prize table – all followed by a gourmet dinner.
“Through the generous support of Telus and Predator Ridge, and our other sponsors, we are off to a great start for this year’s tournament. We anticipate another sell-out event this year,” said Oughtred.
New this year, participants are able to register individually or as a team online. There is also the option of mailing in your registration.
